Summary
Mark has over twenty years of experience in survey research with a concentration in higher education, public health, and leadership. He has managed numerous large-scale data collection and analysis projects including the University of Minnesota System Pandemic Response, Project Eat, M Health Fairview partnership expansion, Obstetrics Workforce, Grand Challenges Research Initiative, and State of Minnesota Long-Term Care. He has been with the University of Minnesota for nearly 20 years and has worked with numerous internal and external clients utilizing his expertise in research design, response rates, questionnaire design, focus groups, data analysis, and data collection modes including mail, telephone, online, and focus groups. He was previously with Wilder Research where he worked on numerous projects for non-profits and government agencies including the Homelessness in Minnesota Study which has garnered national attention for its’ focus on children, women, and veterans. Outside of work Mark also enjoys historical research, writing books about Northern Wisconsin, and civic engagement including past service on the Saint Paul Capital Improvement Budget Committee, Falcon Heights City Council, and Falcon Heights Environment Commission.
