The goal of survey research is to systematically collect data in order to describe trends, beliefs, or experiences within a given population. At the University of Minnesota, surveys are used to:
- Measure attitudes, experiences, and institutional effectiveness
- Review, assess, and evaluate existing programs
- Collect data for student and faculty research studies
This tab includes a collection of best practice tools that can be integrated with a survey strategy to maximize data quality and ensure survey integrity. The collection is broken down into four sections with information on basic research practices.
